How does the pool decide what I earn?

Difficulty-weighted PPLNS — Pay Per Last N Shares. When the pool finds a block, the reward is split across the most recent shares, weighted by how much work each share actually represented. You are paid for the work you contributed to the round that found the block, not for time connected.

Why does PPLNS mean I should not hop between pools?

Your shares only pay out when a block is found. If you leave right before the pool finds one, your recent shares are still in the window and are still paid. If you arrive right after a block, you start contributing to the next round. Hopping in and out mostly means you are absent for the payouts your own work earned.

Why is my balance "immature"?

A freshly found block cannot be spent immediately. CKB requires the coinbase reward to mature before it can be moved, and the block itself must first be confirmed as part of the canonical chain. Until then your share of it is shown as immature. If the block is orphaned, the reward does not exist and the immature balance is reversed — this is why the pool cannot pay out immediately.

When do I get paid?

Once a block matures, your share moves from immature to confirmed. When your confirmed balance reaches the minimum payout threshold, it is included in the next payout batch and sent on chain. The exact threshold is shown at the top of this page and on the Get Started page.

My hashrate on the site looks lower than my miner reports.

The pool can only measure the shares you submit, so the figure is a statistical estimate over a window and will fluctuate. Compare the 24-hour figure rather than the 10-minute one. A persistent gap of more than a few percent usually means stale shares from latency — try a closer region.

What is a worker name?

Anything after the dot in your username, for example ckb1…abcd.k7-01. It exists purely so you can tell your rigs apart on your stats page. It has no effect on payment.

I started mining and nothing shows up.

Check that your username is your full CKB address, that you are connected to the right port, and give it two minutes for the first share to land. If it still shows nothing, ask on the support channel below.

Is this pool trustless?

No. It is operator-custodied: the pool holds your rewards between maturity and payout. You are trusting the operator not to lose or misappropriate them. Read the terms and risk disclosure. A trust-minimised successor is the longer-term plan, but it is not what is running today.
